  • Before logging into the CIB Business Online platform, please check the name in the browser address bar.
  • Use up-to-date and legal software when managing your finances.
  • Only install and run software from reliable sources.
  • Avoid transactions conducted via public, unprotected WiFi networks.
  • Enable the pop-up blocker offered by your browser.
  • Only log in to CIB Business Online from a trusted device that you are familiar with.
  • Do not use the password memory option offered by browsers.

Types of Internet fraud

What is phishing? Phishing is a form of identity theft that is becoming increasingly popular among hackers. They use specially designed websites and fake emails to try to steal your personal data, most commonly in the form of passwords and credit card details.

In unsolicited or phishing emails, you may be asked to visit a website that looks very similar to CIB Business Online, or you may be asked to provide your details. Never provide your login details in such cases!

  • CIB Bank will never ask you to provide your details in an email.
  • CIB Bank will never notify customers by email about account blocking or incorrect transactions.

If you wish to use CIB Business Online as a mobile application, we would like to inform you of the following regarding safe use:

In order to use the CIB Business Online mobile application, pursuant to Section 55/D of Act LXXXV of 2009, we request permission to access the following data in order to prevent payment fraud:

  • Location data: helps identify suspicious logins
  • Access to Bluetooth devices: allows us to recognize suspicious or unsafe devices
  • Phone number access (call status): verifies that you are actually participating in the phone authentication

You can grant permission by clicking the "Accept" button at the bottom of the pop-up message, which will be required to continue using the app from May 1, 2026.
