CIB Group closed the 2024 financial year with an outstanding result

Budapest, 25 March, 2025 

2024 was the most successful year in the history of CIB Group in many ways, characterized by significant growth in savings, loan portfolio and revenue; client- and growth-focused strategic architecture; digitalisation; cost control and record high employee satisfaction. CIB Group has thus closed the third year of its 2022-2025 strategic cycle with outstanding results. With the full support of Intesa Sanpaolo's International Banks Division, CIB Group continued to increase its market share in strategically important segments, expanding its digital services and the proportion of customers using them. As a result, cost efficiency remained excellent in 2024. The Group closed the 2024 financial year with a profit of HUF 71.905 billion, 14.1% higher than in 2023. Its balance sheet total stood at HUF 3,463.210 billion at the end of December 2024, up 4.4% on December 2023.
