CIB Bank organized its own agricultural conference for the fourth time in September 2025
In order to learn more about the challenges of agribusiness and thereby provide expert assistance to its customers, CIB Bank – being part of Intesa Sanpaolo Group through its International Banks Division – organized its own agricultural conference for the fourth time in September 2025.

The success of the conference is proven by the illustrious speakers and by the growing number of participants. This year, an Italian speaker also joined the conference online: Giovannibattista Pallavicini, Public Affairs Manager at ASSICA (Associazione Industriali delle Carni e dei Salumi). Mr. Pallavicini gave an insight into the operations of the Italian meat sector, where tradition and innovation go hand in hand.

CIB Bank understands that the agriculture of the future is rooted not only in the land, but also in financial planning. Producers who recognize its importance will not only survive, but also thrive – and play a leading role in the domestic food supply. A financial partner who knows the local conditions but has an international background too can build a bridge between local needs and global opportunities.

Recognising the level of opportunity in the agricultural sector along with its unique financing needs, CIB bank has set up an Agricultural Competence Centre in the Corporate Division, which sits within the bank’s Trade Finance department. A drive for sustainability lies at the heart of CIB bank's agricultural service, aligning with Intesa Sanpaolo's business plan, which has a strong emphasis on a circular economy.
CIB Bank is looking forward to organize the agricultural conference next year too, a sector in which its SME business is particularly interested.
